Entertainment: What happens next... February 08
The entertainment world is known for drama but we have come up with what we think could make the front pages of the glossy mags!
Spice Attack
The pop sensation, The Spice Girls become unsatisfied with the huge success of their World Tour and decide to run for Prime Minister(s) under the terms that they each get a house on Downing Street and can have their own Helipad built. On hearing the news, Gordon Brown is somewhat shocked but decides to give up his place to the girls on the condition that he can have front row seats and backstage access to all of their future shows. The girl power divas agree and Downing Street gets a much needed injection of glamour. The House of Commons dress code becomes more liberal and The Daily Politics ratings go through the roof.
Goody Bye Bye
Jade Goody finally declares that she has had enough of life in the public eye and announces she is packing up and setting off to Korea to set up an orphanage. One week later we hear Ms Goody has signed a contract with Channel 4 to do a documentary series on her change of life. No sooner than that, Jade is photographed at the airport returning home saying she ‘really misses it here’. Later that week Jade features in Womans Weekly with some story about her other half, Jack something is it?
Dragon’s Monopoly
The creators of the hit show, Dragon’s Den, produce a reality version of the game, Monopoly. Property Tycoon wannabes risk their livelihoods in a bid to become millionaires by buying as many set of streets and building as many hotels as possible. The Dragon’s sit back and enjoy the fun whilst fanning themselves with their wads of cash they no longer have to ‘invest’. After just three shows the programme is boycotted after rumours of lawsuits against the BBC following accusations that participants were not informed they may be charged for playing even if they didn’t actually play.
Prince of Press
Prince William starts his new job as a press officer and decides he needs some front line action to get one over on his brother. He ends up appearing in the press pack at the up and coming Baftas - He got the best angles after discovering that the stars respond best to polite British manners. The other photographers stood in amazement. THe only problem was that the prince didn't know how to load up the camera film in his Grandma's camera. Oh well William better luck next time!
