I’ve been a Christian for about 10 months now. One of my friends invited me to a youth event called Buzz United. I was a bit nervous about going, but I loved it! I really wanted to keep going back. I couldn’t believe how much fun it was and I met loads of new people from different schools.
Before I became a Christian, life was ok, but I didn’t have as much fun as I do now. I always seemed to be arguing with my mum, we really didn’t have a very good relationship. My friends weren’t that great either; I used to lose my temper easily with them. Inside I wasn’t happy.
After coming to Buzz and finding out about God my life completely changed. I asked Jesus to be my best friend and things inside me began to change. I became so much happier. Life was suddenly more fun and began to mean something. I started enjoying every day. I found so many new friends at Buzz who help me in life, and we don’t argue, they just love me for who I am!
Mum and I have a lot better relationship now! We don’t argue as much, she even came to see me get baptised a month ago! I have started to build a relationship with my Dad too, which is an area I struggled in before thanks to God giving me confidence and strength.
I’m now involved in things which I never dreamt I would be. I’m part of the Buzz band and sing on stage every Friday night. I love it! I love being in church and Buzz, and being around such amazing people!
I’m so glad that I’ve met God and that He has transformed me and my world! I’m forgiven, happy, and more energetic as I know I have a purpose in life!
